TOYS FOR TOTS is an organization founded by the US Marine Corps Reserves. The mission is to make sure all kids in need have some toys during the holiday. We run on volunteers collecting new unwrapped toys from several area collection boxes. We then package up toys for children who are signed up by parents and then contact the parents to schedule a pick up time. This year we are excited and ready to be helping Hardwick and the surrounding areas not covered by Lamoille county. If you are in need of a few gifts this season please sign up with us on Monday 11/20/17 at 2 pm at Hardwick Elementary School. Ask at the front office and you will get directions to the room we are located in.   Please park in the church parking lot next door so we don’t disrupt buses and dismissal.

Basketball Practice schedule has been posted in the sports section!

Connecting with community partners and modeling collaboration is an important part of being an artist and teacher.  So when Juedevine Youth Librarian, Diane Grenkow forwarded me a link about a project that Community Allies member Rhonda Barr was involved in called "Hardwick Rocks!", I brought the idea to 5th Grade Teacher Lisa Forbes and her students who wanted to be involved too.

Fifth Graders are creating their own "Kindness Rocks" and placing them around the school and community.  Their goal is to spread kind words and bring joy to others through their art making.  If you happen to see a "Kindness Rock" we hope the message will make you smile, have a good feeling inside, and think about how you can be kind to others too.  Collaboration Rocks!
