Mountain View Union Early Childhood Education Center Q&amp;A, January 9, 2025, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Lakeview Elementary Early education is being reimagined for Mountain View Union’s (MVU) youngest learners! MVU administration is putting forth a strong recommendation to the MVU board on January 14 to centralize preschool and kindergarten by establishing an Early Education Center at the Lakeview campus starting in the 2025/2026 school year. This visionary plan, driven by research, and supported by multiple long-range planning teams, is designed to set up our youngest learners for their best success. 2nd Annual OSSU Spring Concert & Art Show

OSSU Art in Bloom: Mark your calendars for the OSSU Art in Bloom celebration on Tuesday, May 14, 2024! This year's celebration will invite students in grades 4-6 to spend the day at Highland Center for the Arts (HCA) in Greensboro exploring the visual arts, engaging in workshops, and participating in music rehearsals. We invite parents, caregivers, and the public to a performance at 1 p.m. featuring 4th-6th graders singing eclipse-themed songs, followed by selections from Hazen Union Drama Club's “The Wizard of Oz”. Third grade students from all OSSU schools will also join us at the HCA to watch the afternoon performance. Student artwork from grades 4-12 will be on display for all to enjoy throughout the day. All members of the public and our local and school communities (Craftsbury Schools, Hardwick Elementary, Lakeview Elementary, Woodbury Elementary, Wolcott Elementary, and Hazen Union School) are invited to celebrate the arts with us this spring! PLEASE NOTE: Hazen Union's Senior Solos and Small Ensembles concert, originally scheduled for the evening of May 14, has been postponed.
